[Bismillahnews.in-22-09-15New Delhi-Sohail Siddiqui] Senior Urdu Journalist Janab Ahmed Mustafa Siddiqui "Rahi" [85] is under medication from last two months for loss of strength as a result is unable to stand on his lower limbs.This weakness has resulted in two serious falls at home while going to toilet.The last fall occurred last week as a result he is completely on bed immobile and all his basic needs are been taken care of on bed.

 

His weak lower limbs were gaining strength due to one months regular physiotherapy but the fall last week has damaged muscles in his right hip to toe.Fortunately their has been no damage to his bone structure.

 

He is showing some progress after radiation therapy at home by Physio-doctor in the reduction of pain in his right leg,but Viral has caught him with cough,cold and fever.

 

His long and healthy life is the need of the hour as his talents and contribution to Islamic journalism singly is unmatched in the entire Islamic world.He started working with his father Janab Maulana Abdul Waheed Siddiqui [Rh] at a very early age after completing his Adeeb e Kamil and is the eldest among 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

 

He has had a distinguished contribution to Urdu Journalism in India as editor of "Urdu Daily Nai Dunya",New Delhi 1951-1963,Editor Urdu Monthly "Huma Digest" New Delhi 1967-1985, Editor Urdu Monthly "Huda Islami Digest" New Delhi 1968-2015 till now and Editor Hindi Monthly "Taha Islami Digest" New Delhi 1985-2015 till now.
